Full Description

NH63SW 29 6472 3254.

At NH 6472 3254 on a level area in a SW-facing slope is an oval stone-walled hut. It measures 13.7m N-S by 11.0m transversely overall, with a wall spread to c. 2.5m all round. A number of outer facing stones are visible, but there is no trace of the inner face. The 'simple' entrance, c. 0.8m wide, is in the S arc.
In the vicinity are stone clearance heaps and lynchets forming cultivation plots, one of which near the hut measures 25.0m by 15.0m. Hut surveyed at 1/10,000.
