A 1950s underground Royal Observor Corps observation post is situated on the E side of the A 836 some 450m NNE of Altnaharra.

Opened in May 1960, closed in September 1991. The hatch is kept locked. The internal fixtures and fittings of the post survive in good condition. See link for photograph of interior. <1>
