This concrete pillbox is situated in the garden of a house at the corner of a side road which links Ardgay to the A836 (formerly the A9) via Cromrathad. One of the large heavy pillbox type, for anti-tank and machine guns, it has now been converted into a garage. The pillbox covers the main approach road to Bonar Bridge.
