The Buckie fishing boat Stroma sank in Loch Ewe early on Monday 4th March 1974. She is believed to have struck a naval buoy. The 50 ft vessel sank very quickly. The crew took to liferafts and were later picked up by the Buckie fishing boat Corinthia.
