There is a small waterway shown running beneath the canal on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1875, sheet vii) and on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1904, sheet cxl). The feature is shown as a tunnel or culvert under the canal on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975) and on the OS Basic Scale raster map (ND).
This feature is shown as being in Argyllshire on the 1st edition map, but appears on the Inverness-shire sheet subsequently.
