(Suspension bridge of wire rope and truss deck type). Built 1881 by C R Manners, engineer, and W Smith and sons, Ness Iron Works, contractors. Lattice-girder pylons on cast-iron bases, wire-rope cables, iron rod suspenders, light truss span. Main span 173 ft (52.7m), side spans 50 ft (15.2m). Public footbridge.
