Three small structures and two patches of rig, situated on the E side of Torr na Slabhraidh, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of Rahoy Estate. The structures lie on either side of the plantation dyke (NM65NW 41.00) but the the rig is situated outside of the plantyation.
As the plantation dyke changes from a S to N orientation to run northwestwards, there is a small stone structure (NMRS MS 899/147, no.3) abutted onto the angle at NM 6417 5843 . It measures 5m by 3.5m overall with low turf-covered walls 0.6m wide and standing up to 0.4m in height. The corners are rounded. A small area of rig and a single clearance cairn, 3.5m in diameter, lies on the SE. The rigs are about 3m apart on a N to S axis.
To the S, there are a further two small structures, one on either side of the dyke and a plot of rig (NMRS MS 899/147, no.4). The structure on the W of the dyke, at NM 6419 5850, measures roughly 1m by 0.8m internally. That on the E, at NM 6417 5842, measures 2.5m by 1.5m externally. The rig, centred on NM 6420 5845, is aligned from NNW to SSE and is spaced c.3m apart. The rig lies partially within an area of tree cover.
