Full Description

A possible 2-celled structure was recorded by M Wildgoose in 2003 during a walkover survey in advance of a proposed forestry Woodland Grant Scheme. Lying to the north side of a rough track to the side of a small quarry is a grass-covered structure of uncertain type. The visible remains consist of two shallow depressions surrounded by a low ring-bank. The site measures 9m by 4m overall. This site may be the remains of a robbed-out 2-compartment house. <1>

Note: NGR adjusted to feature as seen on 1999-2001 vertical AP [IS-L 01/02/2017].
