Full Description

Heather moorland to the N of Balbeg there are 8 hut circles and 2 round ended buildings standing amongst a dense scatter of small cairns and fragmentary remains of a field system which extent across a ridge of undulating ground measuring 1km from ENE to WSW by 450m transversly bounded NW by the Allt Leiter An Lochain, a tributary of the Allt a' Bhaile Uachdaraich and on the SE by low boggy ground. Within the area there are also ruined shooting butts which are NMRS NH43SE44.01 and a memorial cairn NMRS NH43SE66.

Deep heather cover across area doubtless conceals other structures.

Information from Harry Robinson April 2005.
