Full Description

A: At ND 1394 3171 is a small cairn, some 5m diameter and 0.6m high. A cist formed by three stone slabs is exposed in the centre.
B: At ND 1397 3174, cut by the road, a circular, turf-covered mound, approximately 13m in diameter and 1m high, composed of stone, is possibly a cairn.
Visited by OS (R L) 14 March 1968.

Cairn 'A' is as described. The cist is exposed to 0.9m long E-W by 0.4m wide and 0.2m deep. The cairn has an edging slab in the N.
Mound 'B' is also as described. It is unquestionably a cairn.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 17 August 1982.
