Full Description
Surveyed by ACFA 2003 (SMR Report 1430)
An oval cairn 12m long aligned E-W 10m wide N-S. An outer oval of stones measures 10m E-W and 8mN-S. on the north and west sides the stones appear as a double row. An inner oval of stones measures 7m E-W and 5mN-S again better preserved on the north and west sides. Inside the inner ring there are the possible remains of an interal division of stones aligned N-S and a possible cist.
It is believed that the interal structures may relate to a shieling built on top of the cairn and associated with the earth and stone field banks to the south
