Full Description

RCAHMS 1997
Field System is situated on a SE facing slope in heather moorland about 700m ENE of Balbeg farmsteading. It comprises short stretches of stony banks and lynchets and at least 24 small cairns in an area measuring 175m N-S and 90m across. Some banks appear to be little more than linear scatters of field clearance defining plots of ground measuring up to 25m long and 12 m wide
