Full Description

NH63SE 64 6838 3212.

This farmstead comprises two or possibly three buildings, levelled into the base of a knoll, and two enclosures in an area of scrub woodland. The two best-preserved buildings are set at right angles on the W of the knoll.
The northernmost (USN93 429) measures 9.3m from ESE to WNW by
3.9m transversely within stone footings measuring 0.9m in thickness and 0.3m in height; it has an outshot on the WNW. The S building is 8.1m from NNE to SSW by 4.1m transversely within footings measuring 0.8m in thickness and 0.4m in height. What may be a third building, too wasted to measure, lies to the E of the knoll. Three roofed buildings and an enclosure are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, 1875, sheet xliii).
(USN93 428-9)
