Full Description

Buildings here include the well preserved remains of 2 long houses, one of which appears to have been reused as a kiln barn; a third smaller building is also represented. Just to the N of this settlement are the slight foundations of 2 small rectangular buildings.

A farmstead comprising four unroofed buildings, two of which are long buildings, and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxxviii). Four unroofed buildings, one unroofed structure and an enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1962).
