Full Description

The remains of an enclosure and three possible hut circles. The enclosure, which has a large gap in the N, measures 52m NW-SE by 40m E-W and is formed by a low turf bank 0.2m high. The three possible hut circles all lie on the N perimeter of the enclosure and are visible only as slight stone oval yards 0.2m high.

An enclosure, generally as described in previous field report. The alleged possible hut circles are inconclusive remains of three bothy-type structures. The situation is in rough pasture, and the enclosure is probably an early modern stock pen (see NC96SE 31).
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 17 September 1981.
