Full Description

The ruins of two substantial longhouses up to 1.2 m high, also a smaller structure with a kiln at the W end. In the vicinity there are associated enclosures and field walls, together with stone clearance and strip cultivation.
Visited by OS (J B) 28 July 1981.

A farmstead comprising three unroofed buildings, one of which is a T-shaped long building, and an enclosure set within what may be a ring-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xvi). It is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1963).
