Full Description

No change to the above report. Visited by OS (J M) 7 December 1982.

A modern marker cairn 2.5m high. Surrounding it are traces of a ring of stones about 3.5m in diameter, presumably the alleged hut circle. This is not an antiquity and the local tradition of a whisky still is possibly correct.
Visited by OS (A A) 19 April 1972.

Cairn (NAT) on remains of Hut Circle (NR)
(Neither on OS 6" map, Caithness, 1st edition, nor in RCAHMS inventory) OS 6" map, (1959)
