Full Description

Incomplete, heath/rough pasture on raised beach with SW aspect at an altitude of 30-40m OD.

NM39NW 27 342 955.

Situated on the bare surface of the raised beach, and around its fringes, to the NE of cairn NM 39 NW 3, there are a number of circular stone-banked enclosures, possibly huts, built of beach pebbles. One group comprises three abutting enclosures which measure from 4m to 2m in diameter within a wall 1m thick.
