Full Description

At the back of a peat covered terrace on the E side of Sron Ochrulan there are at least ten shieling-huts and a large rectangular building or enclosure (measuring 21m by 4.5m within walls 1.4m thick and 1.5m high). The huts are in four groups and are largely conjoined, with several small cells opening off a larger compartment. A peat covered bank runs out to the E from the southernmost shielings across the terrace and disappears into the peat.
