Full Description

At NH 7073 4133 in open moorland, formerly Bogbain Wood, is a circular stone-walled hut and an associated field system. The hut measures c.10.5m in diameter, between the centres of a wall spread to c.2.5m all round. In the SE arc is a simple entrance c.1.0m wide. The well-defined field system comprises stone clearance heaps and occasional field walls and lynchets forming cultivation plots average size c.30.0m by c.20.0m. Visited by OS (N K B) 3 April 1970.
