Full Description

There are the grass-grown footings of at least four buildings and a kiln-barn at the NW end of the shallow valley occupied by Halistra Loch. The buildings have been mutilated by improvement, and patches of ridging are visible.
The kiln-barn (WAT90 1480) measures 10.4m from ENE to WSW by 2.7m over footings 1.2m thick and 0.4m in height. The kiln-bowl is at the WSW end and is off-set to the N side.
