Full Description

NM78SW 1 7264 8435.

There is a crude short cist, apparently comprising 4 side slabs and a number of smaller stones, possibly the broken cap-stone, in the Museum. It was found one foot below the ground surface on remaking the Mallaig road in Glen Mahma, Loch nan Uamh, on August 10th 1938, and was loaned by Miss Ashley-Nicholson.
Information from West Highland Museum, Fort William.

The approximate find-spot of the short cist was pointed out by Mr MacEachan (Cuildarroch, Lochailort) at NM 7264 8435. As far as is known nothing was found in it.
Visited by OS (N K B) 21 May 1970.
