At least two hut-circles, a burnt mound and a scatter of buildings (probably forming a small township) are situated on a broad terrace to the E of the Torbreck Burn. Part of the township lies within a head-dyke which crosses from the W bank of the Torbreck Burn (see NC70NW 4). An earth-and-stone embanked field occupies a large part of the terrace and post-dates the head-dyke.
