Area NN 318 896. Coire Bhrunachan has a quern quarry at which half-made and rejected quern-stones are visible.

An old quern quarry is known locally to be in the NW-facing hillside at the back of Brunachan (NN 318 896) but heavy snow cover at time of visit prevented ground investigation.
Visited by OS (JM) 13 Febuary 1979.
