The site of the burial place, Cladh Giorsail, may be represented by a low mound, about 12.0m by 8.0m, within a little copse in a bend of the road from Achnacarry House to the shore of Loch Lochy, between this road and the south bank of the River Arkaig.
Three large flagstone lie in disorderly manner upon the mound and may have been grave-covers,or headstones.
Local enquiries regarding Cladh Giorsail were quite negative.

The slabs noted by OS at NN 1811 8782 do not appear to be gravestones, neither is the 'mound, a slight natural rise covered with scrub, of any significance. There is no trace of a graveyard in the vicinicty.
