"Applied to the site of the old church and burial ground on Kilmonivaig. English meaning - Kilmonivaig graveyard."
Name Book 1872.

Kilmonivaig Church seems to have always stood on the site which it still occupies in the angle formed by the junction of the Spean and Lochy. A rector is noted in 1449.

There are now no remains of church or burial ground.
Visited by OS (A S P) 12 July 1961.

The site of the church is now covered by the River Lochy.
