Historic Scotland has awarded an Ancient Monuments Grant to the Speyside Trust for the repair and maintenance of this road. A condition of the grant is that a photographic record is made of the areas in question before, during and after the works. This is to be submitted to Historic Scotland, the NMRS and the HER. <1><2>

Part of the stretch between Connachie Burn to Culachy was surveyed in 2013 by West Coast Archaeological Services in advance of a woodland creation scheme. <3>
