NC 146 109 Depopulated buildings shown on the 6 inch map coincide (only approximately) with the site of a settlement. There are, however, also, walls, dykes and various signs of former cultivation, as well as a suspected water-mill site (Approx. NC 1425 1112.).
Info contained in letter from F H W Green to OS 5 9 1963.

What may be a township comprising four unroofed buildings, one of which has two compartments is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Cromartyshire 1881, sheet iv). Three unroofed buildings, one with two comparments are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1967).
