Full Description

In rough pasture on steep hillslope with NE aspect with an altitude of 60-70m OD.
SMR card.

NG40SW 2 4004 0243.

NG 4004 0243. Seventeen worked flakes of bloodstone and flint have been found recently in this area during forestry ploughing. They were sent to the NMAS for examination by A E Ball of the Nature Conservancy Council, Inverness. It is uncertain if these flakes are meso- or neolithic, but they have certainly been humanly struck.
Information from letter from J Close-Brooks, NMAS 16 January 1975.
