Photographs of the interior and exterior of this building were submitted to the HER in March 2010 in connection with its proposed conversion to additional residential use for the adjacent Curlew Cottage. The ground plan shows two interconnecting rooms, both described as former laundry rooms. <1>

The Canmore record also describes this as a cottage and former laundry. <2> Historic Scotland's listed building report, however, describes the building as an assembly hall. <3>
