Access Audit 71 - HAW 11/2003
An extensive township, shown on RHP 2503, dated c.1770. Its appearance on this plan correlates well with the remains on the ground which have been surveyed by Ann Wakeling and family.

NH91SW 15 935 145.
Air photography has revealed a deserted settlement c320m SW of Kincardine Cottage. The rectangular footings have bowed ends, and there are several more recent ruins. (See Archive for details.)
