Full Description
NN69NE 10 centred 6742 9963.
Centred at NN 6742 9963 is a small ancient field system marked by stone clearance heaps and occasional lynchets.
Visited by OS (A A) 16 May 1974.
About twenty-five small cairns, measuring up to 5m in diameter and 0.4m in height, are scattered across the hillside to the ENE of Creagan Ruadh. What may be lynchets lie along the line of natural breaks of slope to the SW of a forestry fence which cuts across the ENE end of the site. A roughly square, drystone-walled sheepfold is situated at the base of Creagan Ruadh.
