(NG 441 788) There was a chapel dedicated to St. Columba on Eilean Trodday (RCAHMS 1928) - Trodda (M Martin 1934) - Trodda (A Ross 1898) Listed under sites (RCAHMS 1928)
A Ross 1898; RCAHMS 1928; M Martin 1934.
A search of the island of Trodday revealed no traces of a chapel.
At NG 441 788, is a small ruined farm comprising 4 houses with yards attached.
There are some lazy-beds nearby. At NG 439 790, is a ruined shielding of two-cell type.
