Full Description

P.M. 26/07/96.

A field system noted in a 1995 DBA by J Wood in advance of a woodland creation scheme dating from the 18th or 19th century. It was located on the 1858 Seafield map. <1>

A field system noted during a DBA and walkover survey by C Dagg in 2007 in advance of a woodland creation scheme. The main cultivation area, east of the track was essentially an open grassy area encroached upon by heather and bracken. Several large field clearance piles were visible, particularly to the northeast of the stream. <2>
