In the area between the broch (ND13SE 19) and the farmstead of Minera (ND13SE 111.00) there are three buildings that have been robbed to their stone footings. The southernmost has opposing entrances and may be a threshing barn, while one of the others displays evidence of two phases of construction and has the possible remains of a kiln at its NE end.
