Full Description

NH92NE 6 977 254.

At NH 9774 2544 on a shelf in a W-facing slope is a denuded oval stone-walled hut, measuring about 12.0m N-S by 10.0m E-W between the centres of a wall spread to c. 3.0m all round. Neither facing stones nor the position of the entrance can be seen. In the vicinity are several clearance heaps probably from contemporary cultivation plots.
Visited by OS (N K B) 16 October 1970.

This hut is now virtually destroyed by recent afforestation. 65.0m to the N are the vestiges of another hut which has been also destroyed by afforestation making measurements impossible.
Surveyed at 1/2500.
Visited by OS (I M T) 10 April 1974.
