NH 6697 4529 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on a development near the edge of the medieval burgh. No archaeological features or deposits of interest were revealed. The partial remains of a two-storey building were still standing on the site before work started. Cartographic evidence showed that the building dated to the early 19th century, being removed after 1930 and replaced by two garages.
Full report deposited in Highland SMR and the NMRS.
