Full Description

NMRS Report: (17/04/2003)

Fieldwork in two areas was required for the construction of a new water supply between Spean Bridge and Fort William (DES 2001, 50).

NN 166 811 (centre) Lindalie. A low slightly curved field dyke, 25m long, was recorded. The feature had channels cut through it to allow the escape of water trapped behind it. It was constructed solely from silty loam but its precise function and date could not be established.
