Pentland Firth [name centred ND 35 81]
Pentland Skerries [name centred ND 470 775].

Missing. CHARLOTTE. 8 years. Not reg. Wood lugger. 25 ton. 10 men. Master and owner D. Gunn, Wick. Wick to fishing. Ballast. 10 dead. Not heard of since sailing on 13 February 1893. Supposed lost between Noss Head and the Pentland Skerries.

(Classified as wooden lugger, in ballast: regustration number cited as WK 327 and date of loss as February 1893). This vessel left Wick for fishing on 13 February 1893, and is presumed lost off Noss Head.
