Full Description

Centred 579 956.

A deserted settlement centred NN 579 956. It consists of 5 buildings which vary from 8.5m and 10.5m in length, and 3.0m and 4.0m in width, with 1.0m wide walls. Also remaining are two circular shielings, 2.5m in diameter, and several old field walls.
Visited by OS 11th October 1965.

A township, comprising four unroofed buildings and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet c). Two unroofed buildings and the head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1970).
