Loch Linnhe [name centred NM 86 47].

Island of Mull, 5th Feb. 'The PEACE, Peebles, from Newport to Fisherrow, was driven on shore near Fort William, 14th ult.. The crew and greater part of the cargo saved.'

The map sheet assigned to this loss is essentially arbitrary, but it probably took place within the extensive area of Loch Linnhe. The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998).
