Full Description

The former passenger shelter at Nairn Railway Station. It most latterly housed the Highland Railway Museum.

The passenger shelter was listed at Category B in 1981 with the railway station, including the main offices, storehouse (ancilliary building) or shelter and footbridge.

The listing was deleted from the list by Historic Scotland in 2013 as part of Scottish Signal Box Review (2012-13), combined with HBNUM 46540 (two signal boxes - see also MHG38730 & MHG38733) and re-added to the list with the same numbering and listing date. <1>
