Oban, 18th Sept., 8.40 p.m, deputy went this day, by request, to Callart by Ballachulish to inspect KATINKA (s): found two plates under bilge stove in and torn, cabin fittings totally smashed, vessel in a precarious position and would require engineers at once to repair temporarily, in order to have her taken to where repair could be effected. Tide flows in and out. Wire instructions. [Report received incomplete].
