The map sheet assigned to this record is arbitrary and the loss may have taken place on the SW (Mull) side of the Sounds, within the quasi-administrative area defined as Maritime - Argyll and Bute.
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), suggesting that she was refloated.
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 8 March 2004.
