Full Description

NMRS Report: (27/01/2006)
NH95SW 41.01 93800 51971.

There ate two groups of buildings at this site. The first is of linear plan and is built down a slope. There is a small cottage containing a box-bed recess at the lower end, a two-storeyed building with forestairs to the upper floor, said to have been a granary, and a further building at the top of the slope that appears to have been converted for domestic use. All are 18th-century and have crow-stepped gables. The main farmstead is large courtyard group fronted by cottages with a barn, byres and stables to the rear. It is probably not of one build (2000).
Information from RCAHMS (SS) 23 January 2006.
