A roughly triangular memorial cairn, 2m broad at the base and 1.2m high, stands on the line of a trackway (which now skirts around it) on a ridge above the E bank of the Allt a' Bhaile Uachdaraich. A concrete block on its NE face bears the inscription
'IN MEMORY OF PAMELA C D ROSS KILLED BY LIGHTNING HERE ON 2nd AUGUST 1950'.
