Full Description

NMRS Report: (25/06/2004)
NH53SW 74 51576 31201

The footings of a heavily robbed building, measuring 9.6m from ESE to WSW by 4m overall, lie immediately to the WSW of the farmhouse at Upper Drumbuie. This may be one of the group of roofed buildings shown here on the 1st edition of the 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875, sheet xxix), others of which lie to the SW and ENE of the farmhouse and are still roofed. Short lengths of bank are all that remain of two roofed buildings and a garden enclosure shown on the 1st edition map to the NE of the farmstead (NH 5164 3126).
