NLO: Invergordon [name: NH 708 683]
Cromarty Firth [name centred NH 69 67].

Greenock, 29th Jan., a boat which left Invergordon, 27th Jan., with staves for Wick and Lybster, is believed to have foundered the same night, as large quantities of staves, some oars, and other materials belonging to her have been washed ashore: she had two men on board.

The map sheet assigned to this record is arbitrary, and the loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998). The location of the discovery of the wreckage is not specified; the loss have occurred out in the North Sea.
