Inverness [name: NH 665 455].

Inverness, 26th Feb., the JESSIE BANNATYNE (smack), of Ayr, with lime and wood, was scuttled, 20th Feb., the cargo having caught fire: a large portion of the cargo was destroyed.

(Classified as smack, with cargo of lime and wood: date of loss cited as 19 February 1874). This vessel caught fire at Inverness harbour, and is now a total wreck.
