Full Description

A massive axe-hammer, made from a cobble and rather irregular, damaged on one face, measuring 8.4" x 4.1" x 3", is in the possession of the Earl of Crawford, Balcarres, Fife. An old label on it apparently said "Found in a cairn on North Fumerey in 1838 (or possibly 1858)."
(? "Fumerey" = "Fiunary" - NM 61 46).
